In an update dated 7 October, the ministry said the system was operating again.<\/p>\n<p>The service was temporarily suspended on 6 October because of a problem outside Bulgaria in RESPER, the European system for exchanging driving licence data.<\/p>\n<p>The new announcement lifts the previous restriction on the expedited service. The initial notice did not announce any suspension of standard licence issuance or replacement.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>Updated on 7 October 2026: official confirmation that the service has resumed has been added.
