Professor Martin Vechev, founder and scientific director of INSAIT at Sofia University, is among the researchers selected by OpenAI to study and improve a technology for watermarking AI-generated text. The education ministry's press office announced this in information also published by Az-buki on 7 October.<\/p>\n
The approach embeds an invisible statistical signal while text is generated. A dedicated detector then checks for that signal, rather than relying solely on the writing style.<\/p>\n
According to the announcement, the detector is not yet publicly available. Selected researchers have been given access to study and improve it. No public tool guaranteed to identify every AI-generated text has been announced.<\/p>\n
