The National Centre of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases has reported the first detection of influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 in the 2026\u20132027 season. bTV published the information on 7 October, citing the centre.<\/p>\n
The virus was confirmed by Real-Time PCR at the National Reference Laboratory for Influenza and Acute Respiratory Diseases.<\/p>\n
This is the first report of this subtype for the season, not the first influenza detection overall. On 4 October, BTA reported that the laboratory had confirmed A(H3N2) on 30 September.<\/p>\n
