The Bulgarian army is using drones for additional surveillance of the Black Sea coast and nearby air and maritime space. The Defence Ministry announced the measure on 19 October 2026.<\/p>\n
The ministry says the aim is prevention and faster situational awareness. People along the coast may see drone flights linked to these tasks. This does not establish the origin of every individual aircraft sighted.<\/p>\n
