A proposal for a new road bypassing the hazardous Prisovo bends near Veliko Tarnovo has been presented for public consultation. According to Borba newspaper, the project includes a new bridge over the Yantra River, a railway overpass and other infrastructure.<\/p>\n
The proposed section is approximately 2.46 kilometres long, stretching from the Southern Road Junction towards Prisovo. The plans include a bridge over the Yantra River, crossings over the railway and a ravine, and an overpass towards the Cholakovtsi neighbourhood.<\/p>\n
According to the report, the proposal is undergoing a procedure to determine whether an environmental impact assessment is required. It covers areas near Veliko Tarnovo, Debelets and Prisovo.<\/p>\n
Residents and interested parties can review the investment proposal and submit comments or objections through the relevant procedure. This is a proposal, not construction already under way. No confirmed date for building the new route has been announced.<\/p>\n
