According to figures presented on 23 October by Regional Election Commission deputy chair Viktor Lyaskov, 199,548 people are eligible to vote in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Voting machines are planned for 309 stations, while paper ballots will be used at 105. Two voting machines will be installed at each of 37 stations with more than 700 registered voters, the commission told regional media.<\/p>\n<p>Mobile voting stations are planned in the municipalities of Veliko Tarnovo, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Pavlikeni and Sukhindol. The commission also reports special polling stations in hospitals and other institutions. As of the afternoon of 23 October, no complaints related to the upcoming election had been received by the commission.<\/p>\n<p>Voting on 25 October is scheduled from 07:00 to 20:00, with an extension possible under the law if voters are waiting. Residents can check updated announcements from the Regional Election Commission and election information published by their municipality.
