For Monday, November 2, 2026, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology warns of significant rainfall across much of Bulgaria. Veliko Tarnovo is among eleven provinces under a yellow warning. Forecast rainfall in areas with the first-level warning may reach around 35 litres per square metre.

An orange warning has been issued for seven provinces in eastern Bulgaria: Dobrich, Silistra, Varna, Burgas, Shumen, Razgrad and Targovishte. In addition to Veliko Tarnovo, yellow warnings apply to Ruse, Pleven, Vratsa, Lovech, Gabrovo, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Sliven, Haskovo and Yambol.

The day is expected to be mostly cloudy, with rainfall in many areas. The published forecast puts daytime temperatures at about 9–14 degrees Celsius in much of the country, with warmer conditions along the coast and in the southeast. These are forecast figures, not measured rainfall totals.

Travellers should check current weather warnings and local road conditions, as the forecast may change during the day.
