According to the company, the facilities were officially brought into operation on <strong>29 October 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following the upgrade, the substation has three power transformers with a combined capacity of 125 MVA. This is an increase of approximately 67% from the previous 75 MVA. The company says the additional capacity will help manage loads and connect new customers.<\/p>\n<h2>Which parts of Varna are expected to benefit<\/h2>\n<p>The expected benefits are concentrated mainly in <strong>the Western Industrial Zone<\/strong> and the neighbourhoods of <strong>Vladislavovo<\/strong> and <strong>Kaisieva Gradina<\/strong>. The aim is to provide more reliable electricity supplies as demand grows and create more opportunities for local businesses.<\/p>\n<p>ERP Sever also says the upgrade improves the conditions for meeting the <strong>N-1<\/strong> reliability criterion \u2014 a principle under which the power system should continue operating even when one component fails. This does not mean that all possible electricity outages have been eliminated.<\/p>\n<p>The stated benefits and technical specifications come from the electricity distribution company.
