More than 200,000 people have been displaced by renewed fighting in Yemen, Reuters reported on 7 October, citing the International Organization for Migration.
The organisation’s separate weekly bulletin records 21,798 displaced people between 27 September and 3 October. Most recorded movements were into or within Taiz governorate.
The weekly report and the latest figures cover different periods and should not be added together.
