M. V. Lomonosov vocational school in Gorna Oryahovitsa is preparing a course in operating and maintaining crewed and uncrewed aircraft for next year. The municipality supports the preparations, it announced on 7 October.

Students attended Drone Expo Summit 2026, where mayor Nikolay Rashkov presented the local airport and his vision for its development. The announcement specifies neither an application deadline nor the number of places.
