Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa knock out Septemvri 2–1 after extra time

Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa are through to the last 16 of the Bulgarian Cup. On 17 October, the second-tier side beat top-flight Septemvri Sofia 2–1 after extra time, following a 1–1 draw in regulation time.

According to the final BTA results report, the visitors took the lead through Viktor Dobrev in the 23rd minute. Georgiev equalised in the 86th minute, and Egor Romanyuk scored the winner for the hosts in the 94th minute.

The Gorna Oryahovitsa side thus came from behind to eliminate a First League opponent. Local outlet RegNews also confirms the final score and the decisive goal in extra time.
