Prof. Kaloyan Davidov named Bulgaria's Doctor of the Year 2026
The Bulgarian Medical Association awarded the urologist its Gold Prize on 19 October. The ceremony also marked the organisation's 125th anniversary.

Prof. Kaloyan Davidov has received the Bulgarian Medical Association's Gold Prize for Doctor of the Year 2026. The award was presented on 19 October at the National History Museum in Sofia.
Davidov heads the Urology Clinic and Prostate Centre at Sofiamed University Hospital. The association recognised his work in laser and robotic urology, research and training young doctors.
The ceremony coincided with Bulgarian Doctors' Day and marked the professional organisation's 125th anniversary.
