Zonta Club Veliko Tarnovo Offers Two €500 Scholarships for Future Healthcare Professionals

Zonta Club Veliko Tarnovo has announced a competition for two scholarships worth EUR 500 each for women training as nurses or midwives at the local branch of the Medical University of Varna. The initiative is being held for the eighth consecutive year, RegNews reported on October 22.

Applicants must have an average grade above 5.00 for the 2025/2026 academic year. Assessment will also consider a motivation letter describing personal values and professional goals. Participation in voluntary causes, research initiatives and community activities is an additional advantage.

Information about family and socioeconomic circumstances is optional but may be considered when other criteria are equal. The application deadline is November 25, 2026, and the selected scholarship recipients are expected to be announced on December 7.

Funding comes with support from donors to the White Summer charity ball. The competition aims to support training in professions essential to healthcare. Applicants should check the application address and full eligibility conditions in the organizers published announcement.
