Veliko Tarnovo Municipality provides 500 tickets for children at Tarnovo Land

Five hundred tickets for attractions at the autumn Tarnovo Land fair have been provided for preschool children attending kindergartens in Veliko Tarnovo, RegNews reported on 22 October, citing the municipal initiative.

Each ticket allows a child to enjoy one attraction of their choice. The tickets are to be distributed through kindergartens, with no separate application procedure for parents announced.

The initiative comes from Veliko Tarnovo Municipality and Deputy Mayor Georgi Nedev, together with the fair organisers. Visits are also planned for children living in social care facilities, with each facility choosing the day.

Tarnovo Land runs from 22 to 25 October at the circus grounds in Veliko Tarnovo, with rides and an evening programme. Separate from the fair itself, distributing tickets is a specific measure to improve children's access to the attractions.

Organisers say the site is planned to be transformed into a new park covering more than 18 decares (1.8 hectares). This is a stated plan, not a completed construction project.
