Charity screenings of Scotty support the dog shelter in Gorna Oryahovitsa

Arabela Cinema in Gorna Oryahovitsa is organising charity screenings of the animated film Scotty from 23 to 25 October. Under the announced initiative, 15% of proceeds from tickets sold will be used to purchase food for animals at the municipal shelter for stray dogs.

The film will be screened at the Napredak 1869 community centre. The first screening is on Friday, 23 October, at 18:00. Two screenings are scheduled for Saturday, 24 October, at 10:30 and 13:40, with a Sunday, 25 October screening at 12:00.

Visitors who wish to support the shelter further will also find a donation box at the ticket office. The initiative combines family cinema with fundraising for a specific local cause.

The animated story follows Scotty, a street cat, and Katie, a house cat. It explores friendship and attitudes towards animals, while the local screenings give audiences an opportunity to support dogs at the municipal shelter. The screening times and revenue share follow the announcement published by RegNews on 22 October.
