The 76th session of the World Health Organization's Regional Committee for Europe opens in Copenhagen on October 27. Through October 29, health ministers and delegates from 53 countries, including Bulgaria, will discuss health policy priorities. Representatives of civil society and partner organizations will also attend.

The first day will focus on the state of health and progress under the European Programme of Work for 2026–2030. A technical discussion on primary health care is also planned. The second day will address the organization's governance and budget.

On October 29, delegates will consider a proposed roadmap for artificial intelligence in health for 2026–2033 and a draft strategy for healthy ageing. WHO/Europe also plans discussions on preventing chronic noncommunicable diseases and a possible separate regional strategy on mental health.

These documents are proposals for discussion, not decisions that have already been adopted. The meeting will be streamed online in English and Russian through WHO channels.
