The Veliko Tarnovo Regional Information Centre is launching an initiative to explain European funding opportunities to municipalities across the province. The meetings are being organised under the title 'European projects in your municipality! Opportunities to apply', RegNews reported on 26 October.

Experts will explain current and upcoming application procedures for European programmes in 2026 and 2027. The aim is to inform prospective applicants about eligible activities, funding requirements and ways to follow future calls for proposals.

The intended participants include representatives of municipal administrations, small and medium-sized businesses, non-governmental organisations and individual residents. The information sessions are planned to cover every municipality in Veliko Tarnovo Province.

The announcement reviewed does not yet contain a complete confirmed timetable with times and venues for every meeting. Interested residents should follow updates from the organisers and their municipality for specific dates. Attending an information session does not mean that funding has automatically been approved.
