In September 2026, 191 registered unemployed people found work with assistance from Veliko Tarnovo’s labour office. BTA reported the institution’s figures on 19 October.
There were 1,623 registered unemployed people in total, including 298 new registrations during the month. The total should not be read as 1,623 new registrations.
Employers reported 114 open-market vacancies, with manufacturing and education accounting for the largest shares. Forty unemployed people entered vocational training.
Unemployment was 4% in the office’s service area and 5.7% across Veliko Tarnovo Province. Municipal rates were 3.1% in Veliko Tarnovo, 10.2% in Elena and 16.9% in Zlataritsa. These are monthly statistics, not current job listings.
