Today’s road conditions in Veliko Tarnovo Region: repairs and restrictions on I-4, I-5 and third-class roads

Drivers in Veliko Tarnovo Region should allow extra travel time on several major routes on Monday, 5 October.
Traffic on the Novo Selo–Balvan section of road I-4 is restricted to one lane because of resurfacing work. The announced end date for these arrangements is 5 October.
On I-5 between Polski Trambesh and Polikraishte, two-way traffic is being directed between lanes because of partial repairs. Flaggers are controlling traffic, with the arrangements scheduled to remain in place until 15 November.
The restriction on road III-551 between Plakovo and Sredni Kolibi remains because of a damaged bridge. The Road Infrastructure Agency directs traffic via Debelets, Mindya and Elena. A restriction also applies to II-52 in Svishtov because of repairs to water and sewerage infrastructure.
