Pavlikeni History Museum has announced that a stair platform for visitors with mobility impairments is now operational, providing access to the building's second floor.
This floor houses the permanent art collection, the education area and spaces for temporary exhibitions and events. The change makes these parts of the museum accessible to people previously prevented from reaching them by the stairs.
The platform is part of the museum's physical accessibility project, funded by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities under a contract dated 7 July 2026. The work included design, supply, installation and electrical works.
