More than €511,000 allocated to renovate Dragomirovo community centre

The Prosveta – 1912 community cultural centre in the village of Dragomirovo, Svishtov Municipality, will be renovated with earmarked funding of €511,291.88. The information comes from the Svishtov Municipality press office, which issued the announcement on 28 October 2026 together with an authentic photograph of the building.

What the renovation includes

The project provides for roof repairs and insulation, external insulation and new facade plastering. The windows and doors are to be replaced with PVC units, alongside the installation of energy-efficient LED lighting.

Another key priority is accessibility for people with limited mobility. An accessible toilet is planned for the basement level, together with a stair-climbing device for wheelchair users to move between floors.

Deadline: December 2028

According to the municipality, the funding has been specifically allocated from the state budget, and the deadline for completing the project is 31 December 2028. The announcement describes planned works; it does not state that construction has already been completed.
