Traffic restrictions remain in place on two third-class roads in Veliko Tarnovo region, according to the official Road Infrastructure Agency bulletin as of 5:30 p.m. on 23 October 2026, distributed by the Bulgarian News Agency.
On road III-514 within Veliko Tarnovo, traffic towards Gorna Oryahovitsa is restricted between the junction with Dervenya and Ksiliforska streets and the junction with Tsar Ivan Asen II Street, because of the risk of falling earth and rock. The diversion follows Ksiliforska and St Kliment Ohridski streets, with temporary traffic signs in place.
The same bulletin lists a restriction for vehicles weighing over 3.5 tonnes on road III-551 from Velchevo to Sredni Kolibi, between kilometres 9+208 and 21+900. The reason is damage to bridge structures at kilometres 10+796 and 14+608.
For the III-514 section, the bulletin gives a deadline of 31 December 2026. This is a stated deadline, not a guarantee that the restrictions will remain unchanged until then. Drivers should follow the current road signs and the Road Infrastructure Agency's latest announcements.
The information reflects conditions at the time of the bulletin on 23 October. Traffic arrangements may change following a new agency update, so travellers should check the latest road conditions before setting out.
