The Bulgarian government aims to have the German company Rheinmetall’s planned plant in the country realized within 30 months, Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Aleksandar Pulev said.
He said investment talks are continuing, while the site remains subject to further negotiations and inspections. Bulgaria has proposed locations which, according to the government, better meet the infrastructure requirements.
As key terms have not yet been finalized, the deadline should be regarded as a stated objective rather than a confirmed timetable.
