Where power will be cut today, 13 October, in Veliko Tarnovo and the province

Scheduled outages and possible power supply disruptions have been announced for today, 13 October 2026, in Veliko Tarnovo and several municipalities in the province. The reasons include preventive maintenance, servicing and urgent repairs to the electricity distribution network.

Veliko Tarnovo

From 08:30 to 17:00 a power outage is scheduled in parts of the old town and the areas around the railway station, Sveta Gora and Dervent. Listed streets include Trapezitsa, Tsarevets, Tsar Asen I, Tsar Ivan Asen II and Dr Vasil Beron.

The schedule also includes individual businesses and facilities, including TEREM Ivaylo, Military Unit 22060, Technopolis and the Petrol filling station in the direction of Varna. Check the operator’s information for a specific address.

Gorna Oryahovitsa and Polikraishte

• 09:00–12:00 — part of the village of Pravda;
• 09:00–09:20 and 11:40–12:00 — possible brief disruptions in Pravda and Draganovo due to switching operations;
• 09:00–14:00 — parts of Polikraishte, including sections of Pavel Penev, Arda, Balvanska Bitka, Osam, Bistritsa, Mizia, Dunav, Tundzha, Yantra and Vit streets.

Elena

From 09:00 to 16:30 a power outage is scheduled in parts of Elena. Affected addresses include those on Kraybrezhna, Ilarion Makariopolski, Arhitekt Milanov, Stoyan Mihaylovski, Panayot Hitov, Opalchenska, Osmi Mart, Emiliyan Stanev and other streets.

Listed facilities include municipal and state institutions, the post office, fire station, police, court, prosecutor’s office, social services, banks and retail premises.

Svishtov and Ovcha Mogila

From 09:00 to 16:30 work to make electrical facilities safe continues in Ovcha Mogila. Some customers supplied by transformer substations 12 and 23 are affected until 14 October.

Polski Trambesh, Pavlikeni and Suhindol

In Polski Trambesh, from 09:00 to 16:00 scheduled repairs will affect parts of Otets Paisiy, Bacho Kiro and Rakovska streets and individual business premises.

Disruptions are possible at an address on Vasil Levski Street in Pavlikeni until 14 October. The operator also warns of possible disruptions in parts of Pavlikeni, Patresh, Dolna Lipnitsa, Mihaltsi, Suhindol and Gorsko Kalugerovo until 16 October.
