According to information published by RegNews on 21 October, the municipal Maintenance, Road Infrastructure and Landscaping enterprise will clear the city's main streets. Priority will be given to public transport routes and access roads to emergency medical services, police, fire services, schools, kindergartens and social care facilities.

A contractor is being selected to carry out winter maintenance in the smaller settlements. The local administrations in Dolna Oryahovitsa, Draganovo, Parvomaytsi and Polikraishte must sign contracts for the necessary equipment by 6 November. Organisational plans for the remaining sections are expected to be submitted by 10 November.
