Svishtov Day Centre for Children with Disabilities Marks 18 Years with Rhythm by the Danube

The Day Centre for Children with Disabilities in Svishtov will mark its 18th anniversary with a two-day program called Rhythm by the Danube. The events are planned for November 18 and 19, 2026, Svishtov Municipality announced on October 22 and confirmed in a notice sent to the 5000.news editorial mailbox.

The first day, November 18, will honour professionals working in social services and education. A formal gathering will take place at the Youth Centre in Svishtov. On November 19, celebrations will continue at the day centre itself, with activities for the children and their families.

Special guest and host Martin Ivanov is a composer, conductor and rhythm facilitation specialist. Organizers plan a practical group rhythm session for everyone to take part in together. No musical skills or prior preparation are required.

The centre emphasizes the value of a supportive environment and cooperation among parents, professionals and the local community. The program is being organized with assistance from Svishtov Municipality and the Youth Centre. Those interested in participating can contact the organizers for further details.
