Electrodistribution North (ERP Sever) is suspending all scheduled electricity outages in its service area from October 23 to 27, 2026. The measure is linked to the presidential election on October 25 and is intended to support normal electricity supply to households, institutions and polling stations, according to a company press release sent to 5000.news on October 23.
Planned network work is being postponed during this period, but unexpected faults may still occur. ERP Sever says additional standby teams will be available on election day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to respond to problems.
Bulgaria's presidential and vice-presidential elections are scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2026, in accordance with the National Assembly's decision and information from the Central Election Commission. Limiting planned network work is a preventive measure intended to reduce disruptions to the voting process.
Customers in the ERP Sever service area can report electricity supply problems through the 24-hour helpline 0700 161 61. The company says it will receive fault reports and provide supply information throughout election day.
