Five medals for Svishtov's “Aleko” Karate Club at international tournament in Bucharest

Competitors from Goju Karate Club “Aleko” in Svishtov returned with five medals from an international tournament held on 31 October 2026 in Bucharest, Romania. Five athletes represented the club, the Svishtov Municipality press office said, citing the sports organisation.

The medal tally was one gold, two silver and two bronze medals. The announcement does not identify the individual categories or medal winners or give the other participants’ results, so these details are not inferred.

The photographs accompanying the announcement show athletes and a coach with their medals inside a sports hall. This result is separate from an earlier report about Karate Club “Etar” from Veliko Tarnovo, whose athletes also competed at an event in Bucharest.
