A proposal to allocate €20,000 to support the Svishtov hospital will be discussed by the Municipal Council at its regular meeting on Thursday, October 29, 2026. The Bulgarian News Agency reported the item in its morning regional news bulletin.

The meeting is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in Hall No. 1 of Svishtov Municipality. The date, time and agenda are also available on the municipality's official website. The issue concerns funding for local healthcare, but at the time of publication this is a proposal awaiting discussion and a vote, not funding that has already been granted.

The Dr Dimitar Pavlovich Multi-Profile Hospital is a municipal medical facility. The proposed assistance amounts to €20,000. The newsroom will follow whether councillors approve the proposal and on what terms.
