3D holographic concert in Veliko Tarnovo on November 3

On November 3, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., the Nadezhda 1869 Cultural Centre in Veliko Tarnovo will host a 3D holographic concert featuring pianists Martina Tabakova and Georgi Cherkin. The programme combines piano music for four hands on one instrument, a symphonic ensemble and illuminated images accompanying the performances.

Classical music with visual storytelling

The programme includes arrangements of music by Brahms, Dvorak, Debussy and Saint-Saens. A highlight is The Carnival of the Animals, during which images of animals will appear above and around the piano in synchrony with the music. Rotating LED elements create an illusion of three-dimensional figures that audiences can see without special glasses.

A symphonic ensemble from Vratsa will take part, conducted by Hristo Pavlov. Musician and actor Kalki will appear as the narrator, while young performer Teodor Georgiev will demonstrate the electronic instrument known as the xylosynth.

Where and when

The Veliko Tarnovo performance is on Tuesday, November 3, at 7:00 p.m. at the Nadezhda 1869 Cultural Centre. The next announced tour stop is Vratsa on November 6. Organisers say tickets are available through Eventim and Grabo, as well as at venue box offices.

The project is supported by Bulgaria's National Culture Fund under its large-projects creation and distribution programme. The date and venue are also confirmed in Veliko Tarnovo's tourism event calendar.
