November in Dryanovo: music, theatre, books and events

A music festival in Gostilitsa, theatre performances, a painting exhibition and meetings with writers are among the upcoming events in Dryanovo Municipality in November 2026. The municipality supplied 5000.news with the programme for the town and surrounding villages. The events listed below are scheduled for 7–21 November.

A festival and a monastery feast on the first two weekends

Gostilitsa will host the 13th Gourd Festival, a music festival, on 7 November. That day, the Colourful Glass with Zdravka creative workshop starts at 13:00 at the Dencho Slavov-1900 community cultural centre in Ganchovets. Dryanovo Monastery has announced its patronal feast for Archangel Michael’s Day on 8 November, beginning at 09:00.

On 15 November, a commemoration of the 145th anniversary of master builder Kolyu Ficheto’s death begins at 09:00 in Dryanovo, with a memorial prayer at St Nicholas Church and flowers laid at his monument.

Literary meetings, painting and theatre

The small hall of the Razvitie-1869 community cultural centre will host journalist Rumen Stoichkov on 10 November. Yuliy Yordanov will visit the same venue on 18 November to present his book Lyubov s valchitsa (Love with a She-Wolf). Both events start at 17:30. In between, a solo painting exhibition by Maksim Marinov is scheduled to open at Ikonomov House on 17 November at 17:30.

The programme for 20 November includes a Christian Family Day celebration in Dryanovo and a performance by Gabrovo Drama Theatre in Zaya. On 21 November, Ganchovets combines a table tennis tournament with an evening performance of Vrazhalets by the Simeon Ivanov amateur theatre from Debelets.
