A demonstration team from Kukkiwon — the world taekwondo academy in South Korea — will visit Veliko Tarnovo on 3 November 2026. The martial arts show is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in the sports hall of Veliko Tarnovo University. Admission is free, according to the organisers and local media.
A demonstration of the Korean martial art
The programme will highlight the discipline, coordination and athletic side of taekwondo through performances by visiting demonstrators. Kukkiwon is an internationally known centre for taekwondo training and development, based in Seoul.
According to the preliminary announcement, the event is organised with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Veliko Tarnovo Municipality, Veliko Tarnovo University and the local Tarnovgrad taekwondo school. The date and time refer to an upcoming demonstration, not an event that has already taken place.
