Bulgargaz will revise its initial proposed price of natural gas for November 2026. The announcement came during a hearing at Bulgaria's Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) on October 28, BNT reported.

The initial forecast was EUR 59.08 per megawatt-hour before taxes and fees, compared with EUR 44.09 per megawatt-hour in October, an increase of approximately 34%. These figures describe the submitted proposal, not a final approved price for November.

The revised proposal is expected to be lower than the initial projected increase. However, that does not necessarily mean gas prices will remain unchanged: a double-digit rise was still discussed at the hearing.

The final regulated price is due to be set by the EWRC at the start of November. Until that decision is issued, households and businesses should not treat the preliminary calculations as tariffs already in force.

The hearing also addressed the potential effect on other energy prices. According to the information presented, the November gas forecast alone is not expected to trigger an automatic increase in electricity or district heating tariffs.
