On 1 November, Bulgaria's National Enlighteners Day, Mall Veliko Tarnovo will host Book for Book, where readers can exchange a book they have finished for another title. The event will be held on Sunday from 11:00 to 15:00 on Level 3 of the shopping centre.
Participation is simple: bring one contemporary work of fiction in good condition, leave it at the designated table and choose a book brought by another visitor. Participants may also add a short personal message for the next reader.
Organisers specify that textbooks, magazines, catalogues and damaged books will not be accepted. The aim is not only to swap books but also to share recommendations and impressions and discover new authors.
A creative workshop will let children make their own bookmarks. The invitation and participation rules are published on Mall Veliko Tarnovo's official website.
